Conclusion

The conference organizers thank all who participated in the inaugural Advancing Assessment and Evaluation Conference, with a special thank you to our poster presenters, panelists, and discussants. Presenting in a virtual format can be challenging, but all presentations were engaging, thought-provoking, and enabled rich discussion. We appreciate the attendees remaining engaged as well. As conference organizers, our hope is that the presentations and follow-up questions and rich discussion contributes to the assessment and evaluation community in Canada to propel our field and research. Taking what we learned from this conference, the Assessment and Evaluation Group (AEG) at Queen’s University and ETS Canada very much look forward to planning our next event.
